and I'm going to tell you about the year 8 Noho Marae well it was in term 1 and it was the most favourite Noho i had ever been because it was all of the things you could wish to have and really relate and learn to our Maori people living in our area. also it was one of the best experiences i have ever attended. well if you read down
i will be able to explain what we did and how we did all of the awesome things we did and why we did it where we did who went and when.
well first of all who went: The year 8s of the Challenge Academy
what did we do when we were there: well we done a lot of fun games and activity's including Waka Ama some sports rotations while the boys done Ti Aha also we had a mini tour and we went to the museum lastly we went to the Aquatic center and then traveled back to school and went home from there!
why: because it was a school wide thing and it was meant to learn about the history of the area and it related to the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi
When: we went on the 23rd of March in term 1!
where: our Noho Marae was at Tunohopu Marae
How: we all arrived with our own rides but we had it all organized by all the teachers in Challenge Academy and all the other teachers who helped thank you!
